My Approach
I approach therapy from an Existential-Humanistic framework, emphasizing authenticity, presence, and meaning-making in the therapeutic relationship. My work is grounded in the belief that healing occurs through genuine connection and the courageous exploration of what it means to be human. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), experiential methods, and relational interventions, I tailor therapy to meet each person with openness and respect for their lived experience.
My clinical experience includes working in Community Mental Health, supporting low-income and marginalized individuals navigating complex social, emotional, and systemic challenges. My work is rooted in a commitment to social justice, cultural humility, and honoring the inherent worth of every person.
I strive to integrate humanistic values into medical and diagnostic frameworks, bridging the gap between person-centered care and evidence-based treatment. In doing so, I seek to humanize clinical practice while supporting clients in moving toward greater freedom, responsibly, and vitality in their lives.
I approach my work with cultural humility and a deep respect for the diverse stories clients bring. I believe that honoring the intersections of identity is not only essential for healing but foundational to building authentic, trusting relationships. My goal is to offer a space where clients can explore who they are, reclaim their narratives, and move toward a life aligned with their values and sense of self.
