My Approach

I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where you can explore your struggles and discover strategies that work for you. I recognize that the emotions and feelings you're experiencing are important, and together we’ll work to understand them while building on your strengths from a holistic perspective.

My approach is grounded in Reality Therapy, Person-Centered Counseling, and Strengths-Based perspectives. In practical terms, this means I believe you have the capacity to make meaningful changes in your life when given the right support. We’ll focus on your personal choices, commitments, and the specific actions you can take to fulfill your needs and move toward your goals. I work collaboratively with you—you’re the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you identify what is working, what isn’t, and what you want to be different.

What feels most meaningful to me as a therapist is honoring the dignity and worth of every person, regardless of background or ability level. I want you to experience therapy as a place where you’re truly heard, where your strengths are recognized, and where we work together as partners in your growth and healing.

Populations I Serve

I work with adults (18+) in individual counseling, both in-person and via telehealth. I have extensive experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, and their families.
