My Approach
Hi, I'm Chien. I work with people who are navigating the messy, in-between parts of life relationship struggles, family tension, the stress of parenting, career uncertainty, or that heavy fog of anxiety and depression that makes everything harder. Sometimes it's a major life transition; sometimes it's the accumulation of things you've been carrying for a long time. Either way, you don't have to sort through it alone.
My approach is grounded in Reality Therapy, Person-Centered Counseling, and Strengths-Based perspectives. My job is to walk alongside you, help you get honest about what's working and what's not, and figure out what you actually want to do about it. I believe people have more capacity for change than they often give themselves credit for and I take that seriously.
I also bring experience working with individuals and families affected by disability and chronic health conditions. Whether or not that's part of your story, it's shaped how I show up as a therapist. I pay attention to the whole person, not just the presenting problem.
I provide individual Telehealth counseling for adults and young adults throughout Washington and Oregon State. I'm bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English, and you're welcome to use whichever language feels right.
If you are searching for an online therapist in Washington or Oregon State, virtual counseling for anxiety or depression, bilingual Mandarin-speaking therapy, or Telehealth counseling for life transitions and relationships, I would be honored to support you.
I am currently working under a provisional license as I work toward full licensure. If you have any questions or concerns about my clinical work, please reach out to my supervisor listed below.
