MY APPROACH

          I enjoy working with a wide variety of populations dealing with multiple issues. I am especially passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ population and individuals struggling with relationship issues and/or anxiety.

          It is my belief that the therapeutic relationship is central to client growth. Creating a space of safety, trust and comfort for the client guides all my interactions and interventions.  I believe it is incredibly important that clients feel accepted and heard when they are in my office.

           Holding space for clients who are exploring their sexuality and gender identity is an integral part of my practice. Because therapy is not one size fits all, I use an eclectic approach from multiple different modalities, including but not limited to, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotion Focused, and Strength based approaches to help clients reach their goals.

MY BACKGROUND

           I have been working in the field since graduating with a MS in Counselor Education in 2015. My years of experience ranges multiple different settings including adult outpatient and inpatient, alternative education, corrections, and private practice.
